Chelsea's makeshift team struggled in this one and being honest were lucky to go through with Kepa forced into a number of saves late in the game.
It was good to see Saul Niguez begin to settle into the Chelsea way last night with his best performance so far. He was unlucky not to score also.
Ross Barkley and Hakim Ziyech continue to struggle to impress Thomas Tuchel. Barkley with his overall work rate and Ziyech with his body language and the fact that he looks well off of the pace at the moment. If he continues like that, he will struggle to force his way into the starting eleven for the big games.
