CHELSEA NEWS - JUVENTUS 1-0 CHELSEA - WHERE WAS TIMO WERNER??

Chelsea lost to Juventus in the Champions League tonight to a fantastic move that caught us out just ELEVEN SECONDS into the second half, finished by Chiesa as a real sucker punch.

Chelsea dominated the game with Juventus defending deep and it became clear that we had to mix things up in the second half to try and force the game. To that point it was easy for Juventus to defend against us with five players across the edge of their box and everyone else in front - no space for Chelsea to work with.

The game was crying out for Thomas Tuchel to change things and bring on Timo Werner to make runs in behind and give us a ball over the top which in turn forces Juventus into thinking about how to deal with the different approach.

It never happened, we played into their hands and got beat.
