Welcome to the latest Chelsea news here on the channel and today's it's focused on three players being linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, Sergio Aguero, Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku.
Sergio Aguero is likely to have his pick of clubs between now and the start of the 2021/22 season. The frontman, who is the fourth highest goalscorer in Premier League history - just seven shy of being third on that list outright - is to leave Manchester City at the end of this season when his current contract expires. Aguero will be 33 before the new season starts, but he has proven he is more than capable of finding the back of the net still, despite a season beset by injuries. The striker netted 23 goals in 32 appearances for City last season and it would be foolish to think that a season marred by injuries has affected his goalscoring ability. Chelsea are in the market for a new striker this summer, with Aguero reported to be one of the names on their list as the Blues monitored his contract situation. Now that situation has been resolved, it remains to be seen whether or not Thomas Tuchel is prepared to make the Argentine his first signing in west London.
Erling Haaland is thought to be the club's number one transfer priority, but they will face competition from the biggest clubs in Europe, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid rumoured to be in the running for his signature. However, the Norwegian hitman has a staggering price tag around his neck - a whopping £154million according to reports. Haaland has a £68million release clause at Borussia Dortmund, but that does not come into effect until the summer of 2022 and the Bundesliga outfit could be keen to cash in this summer.
Romelu Lukaku will remain an Inter Milan player as long as Antonio Conte is their manager. The Belgian striker, who has 25 goals in all competitions this season, has been linked with a summer move to a number of European heavyweights. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and his former club Chelsea have all been mooted as potential destinations for the 27-year-old
