Welcome to the latest Chelsea News video here on the channel and today it's focused on reports that Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner could all leave Chelsea this summer in a potential £135m exodus.
CHRISTIAN PULISIC will look to quit Chelsea this summer unless he gets proper game time. The American attacker has yet to start a single Premier League game under Thomas Tuchel, his former Borussia Dortmund boss. Now the £58million signing from Dortmund is growing increasingly impatient. And 22-year-old Pulisic is even now prepared to take a pay cut on his £150,000-a-week wages to secure regular first-team action. Pulisic was one of Frank Lampard’s stars after football came out of lockdown last season, scoring 11 goals in what was his debut campaign. But he has since struggled with a string of injuries and managed only two goals before Tuchel replaced axed Lampard. - The Sun.
Hakim Ziyech is reportedly keen to meet with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, with rumours beginning to surface about his immediate future at the club. Ziyech only arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer, after agreeing a £37m deal with Ajax earlier in the year. However, after impressing in pre-season, Ziyech picked up an injury in pre-season which saw him miss the opening weeks of the season. Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness claim he ‘wants to leave Chelsea’, with suggestions he doesn’t feel a part of the plan under Tuchel. The report adds that Ziyech wants a meeting with Granovskaia in order to sort out his future at the club. Ziyech has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 20205, meaning the Blues are unlikely to want to part with the winger, unless they can recoup most of the fee they paid to acquire his services. - The Express
Timo Werner's unproductive spell at Chelsea may be drawing to a close after just one season. The Germany international signed from RB Leipzig last summer for a fee of around €50m but has largely underwhelmed with five goals from 27 Premier League appearances. Football Insider reports Werner is prepared to quit Chelsea less than 12 months into a bumper five-year contract. Werner netted 28 Bundesliga goals for RB Leipzig in 2019-20 but that return has drastically fallen since moving to London. It is said there is a growing expectation that Werner will leave in the next year or two, despite the arrival of countryman Thomas Tuchel, which has led to a slight upturn in form. - AS.
