Chelsea lost their unbeaten run to Everton yesterday 0-1 and if anything, the game really emphasised our problems with a lack of natural width playing in a 4-3-3 formation without wingers. Despite some tactical tweaks to the 4-3-3 formation (as explained in the video), we struggled to get the likes of Kai Havertz, Olivier Giroud and Timo Werner involved in the game.
Thinking about it this morning, I've come up with a temporary solution to the problem to get everyone available now (not when everyone is back fit as we should stick with the 4-3-3 when Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic & Ziyech are available) to play in their favoured positions and give the opposition a different problem.
