As we all know, after a long summer, the Football season is back with Chelsea now in full flow and tonight's marks their return to the Champions League. So, is the NFL after their long break at their off-season and now, just two weeks into their season, there is a surprising link being made between Chelsea and the Miami Dolphins.
As posted by Betway in this Blog Post, encouraging supporters to of the Blues to find a team over in the USA to support. Having completed their research and looking into some similarities between the two clubs, the comparison has been made with the Floridians.
Now, there are some similarities between the two sides, they do play in Blue (officially aqua according to Wikipedia) but we'll take it for now and both have recently made a significant change to their manager to bring in a young inexperienced, untested coach at the highest level, looking to make their mark in their respective competitions.
That's where the comparisons finish though it has to be said, with Chelsea celebrating numerous successes over the last fifteen years under the ownership of Roman Abramovich. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they have been stuck in free-fall since the 80's trying to ensure they have what is classed as a winning season with the number of wins outweighing their defeats every season.
This is demonstrated by their start to the season so far with two heavy defeats suffered on the opening weekend against the Ravens losing 10-59 and this past weekend losing again to the Patriots 0-43. It's going to be yet another long season for the Miami Dolphins.
For Chelsea? Having made a slow start, the victory over Wolves on Saturday, with Tammy Abraham scoring his first hat-trick making all eleven team goals scored this season by England Under-21 players, the future is beginning to look bright for Frank Lampard and team.
Frank Lampard and his team make their Champions League return tonight against Valencia as we look to take our momentum forward a kick-on with plenty of positives surrounding the team now.
If only the same could be said of the Miami Dolphins!
