Chelsea take on Huddersfield tonight in the Premier League knowing that a victory would take us level on points with Liverpool with the final game of the season to go on Sunday.
Chelsea have played well and won important games in the run-in to the end of the season and all of us are faced with questions of "What if" this season which is a real shame. All we can do in this situation is concentrate on ourselves and hope that Tottenham and Liverpool slip up to allow us to sneak in the back door so to speak.
What is important is that we all focus on tonight and hope that Antonio Conte's team can do the professional job that we need them to do. I would bite your hand off for a poor performance coupled with a 1-0 win so we can take things to the final game.
Alvaro Morata is back in contention for the game and it will be interesting to see him come straight into the side if Antonio Conte decides to rest Olivier Giroud who let's face it, had not started a run of games at Arsenal for god knows how long.
I believe we will stick with the three midfielders tonight and at the weekend because as Antonio Conte said at the weekend, the formation gives us a better balance and allows Eden Hazard to roam in behind the main striker and the two wing backs to have much more of an influence further forward.
It would be nice to see N'Golo Kante in the middle with Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkley given licence to push forward to support in this one but because of the importance of our situation, I predict an unchanged team to face Huddersfield tonight.
Let's not forget, the visitors come to Stamford Bridge off the back of a good performance against Manchester City to grab an all-important point to ensure their safety which you have to say is a remarkable achievement. This is no easy game this evening and they could turn out to be stubborn opponents so we need to ensure that we play somewhere near our best. An early Chelsea goal would change their tactical approach and hopefully open the game up for us to create plenty of chances.
The team: Courtois, Moses, Azpi, Cahill (c), Rudiger, Alonso, Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas, Hazard and Giroud.
This is massive tonight! COME ON CHELSEA!!
