OSCAR - Conte willing to do business at £30m?

Here we go again, Oscar is being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge to Serie A. This time it's Inter Milan that are interested and are reportedly told "He's yours for £30m"!

I have always rated Oscar and I am sure there are plenty of Chelsea fans out there that feel the same as me so these reports that have surfaced today are unsettling. If Chelsea are prepared to sell the Brazilian Midfielder for £30m then I believe it could be a massive mistake.

We have all seen the qualities Oscar has with the ball at his feet and for someone to have come to the Premier League at such a young age, adapted as he has and settled into life here so well, he has also adjusted his game to include the defensive work that is demanded these days.

We have seen that he has been linked with a move away from Chelsea to Serie A a number of times including being linked with a move to Juventus as the replacement from Andrea Pirlo. Let's also not forget that he turned down a move to China last season which would have massive personal financial reward, to remain at Chelsea.

The problem for Oscar in recent seasons is that he appears to be the one player that either starts games to be substituted or is the one dropped to the bench to then come on. He never seems to get ninety minutes on a regular basis.

These reports are a surprise to me based on his work-rate. As we know the new Manager demands hard work in games with and without the ball so you would expect that Oscar would be someone he would have in his plans but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I just wonder how highly Conte rates Ruben Loftus-Cheek and now Nathaniel Chalobah after his performance at the weekend and if that has something to do with it?

I guess having Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard and Willian as our flair players in addition to RLC, Oscar is deemed as surplus to requirements?

Expect developments on Oscar before the season starts. What do you think of him possibly leaving?
