DEAL AGREED! Chelsea Striker to join Crystal Palace on loan?

Forgotten Man Loic Remy, according to reports, is about to sign for Crystal Palace on a season-long loan arrangement with an option to sign him for £10.3m. The Chelsea nightmare is nearly over for the Frenchman.

I say it's been a nightmare for him and you have to admit of late it has been. I have said it before and will say it again being just my opinion, but Remy isn't a Chelsea Striker for me despite the fact that he has a proven track record for scoring goals. When you think of Chelsea Strikers you immediately think of Didier Drogba and the presence he had up top. Remy is totally different.

Think of the struggles Fernando Torres had here! The team was built around Drogba and what he could offer the side. Torres came in and couldn't give the same and struggled to settle in with the same results as he had at Liverpool.

Loic Remy is the same, he came here when the team was still built to play around a big Striker up top and although he came on and impressed, when he started it was a different story.

I am 100% certain that he will leave us and move to Palace who will play in a different way under a Manager that knows him well in Alan Pardew having worked together at Newcastle, and he will fly for them.

I wish him luck in the future and just apologise that it never really worked out here!
