Lukaku or Benteke - Antonio Conte focuses on the two big Belgian Strikers!

According to various reports, Antonio Conte has his eye on one of two options up top as he looks to possibly replace Diego Costa and the two players he has in mind are Christian Benteke or Romelu Lukaku.

Now I wanted to gauge your opinions on this because in my view, both are very different players. Both are currently unsettled at their current clubs and you would imagine are keen to use Euro 2016 to put themselves in the shop window to force a move away this summer.

Christian Benteke.

Benteke's move to Anfield hasn't exactly worked out for him as planned with Brendan Rogers leaving and Jurgen Klopp coming in. It seems from the outside looking in that he isn't someone that fits into the German's plans at Liverpool and he could be sold if the right offer came in just twelve months into his current deal.

I personally think that this guy could be as close as you could get to Didier Drogba given the right guidance because his aerial presence is second to none. His ability with the ball at his feet isn't fantastic but that's not what you put someone like him in the side for is it.

He has a real presence about him, he is strong, powerful and has proven that he can score goals in this League playing under the right manager. Just look what Tim Sherwood achieved with him at Villa in such a short space of time.

If the new Boss favours a big man up top then Benteke would be the perfect solution if we had to sell Diego Costa because he wants to go back to Spain.

Romelu Lukaku. 

Again someone who has proven himself as a goalscorer in this league but after a couple of seasons at Everton, now wants the chance to prove himself at a side challenging for the top four and in the Champions League. Of course as far as Chelsea is concerned, that goes against us, but you cannot help but feel that Lukaku would feel that he has something to prove at Chelsea if they came in for him.

Touted as the natural successor to Drogba at Chelsea when he first arrived, we quickly found out that he was some way off being the finished article. To this point, his ability in the air for being the size he is leaves a lot to be desired and it's the one area of his game that lets him down.

He is strong, quick, powerful and again a presence up top. If he could really improve his ability in the air he could be a world beater he really could because he has everything else in his game.

You would imagine Everton would want a fortune to sell him however and again it depends on what happens with Diego Costa.

Under the right guidance and given regular playing time, with the crop of world class players we have here, Lukaku could really kick on at Chelsea if we could get him back here.

Two big Belgian Strikers but as I have said, both offer very different options. Who (if any) would you prefer Conte to sign if there is any substance to the rumours?
