Antonio Conte looks to Serie A for a new Centre Back - But not who you think!

Kalidou Koulibaly is a name that has become apparent over the past year or so after an impressive debut season followed up with a better season this time around. The 24-year-old Senegalese defender has caught the eye of incoming boss Antonio Conte and Chelsea are looking to spend £19m this summer to bring him to West London.

It's unclear just how involved John Terry is going to be next season. With the likes of Gary Cahill, Kurt Zouma and Matt Miazga already on our books, it will be interesting to see. I wouldn't bet against Miazga being sold based on what I have seen of Koulibaly so far.

It's clear this guy is still very much a raw talent and to come to Chelsea and work alongside John Terry to learn from him every day would see a vast improvement as we have witnessed with Kurt Zouma.

Koulibaly reads the game well and has the pace to mop things up which as we have seen in the Premier League is important with the lack of pace we currently have. I personally believe after doing some research on him that he is a better option at this stage than Matt Miazga albeit the fact that he has a couple of years on him.
