Chelsea 0-3 Manchester City - An Absolute Disgrace - We look like a joke!

Chelsea played second fiddle to City who exposed our defensive weaknesses time and time again in this one. City with a Champions League Semi-Final to look forward to in addition the League Cup already won, could have been forgiven for coming to the Bridge and giving a subdued, below-par performance after their midweek exploits but they gave the complete opposite. They came here to win with a strong side and with players at the peak of their form.
Chelsea on the other hand looked like a group of players who cannot wait for the season to end and are going through the motions to get the remaining fixtures out of the way so most can focus on Euro 2016!
What about us fans? What about the monies paid by us on each match day no matter if it's home or away? We are loyal, passionate and remain so despite one of the worst seasons in our recent history. We still get behind the club and the team and expect them to go out there wearing the Chelsea shirt to play at least for their pride.
What we had to sit through yesterday was scandalous and if the reports are correct, I sincerely hope that Roman Abramovich paid a visit to the dressing room after the game to give each and every single person there a stark reminder of their responsibilities including the management!
We lacked real effort, we lacked any co-ordination, we lacked fight, hunger and desire but most of all, we lacked LEADERSHIP and once again we are left with major concerns over the future of this team.
Greame Souness is quoted in the papers this morning slating the players and has said on record that if John Terry was playing, the result would have not been the same. I beg to differ because as I have been saying all season, he cannot do it all by himself. We need other people to stand up, to be counted and to take responsibility for their role in the side.
Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba were the cornerstone of our decade of success and three of them are gone. We are left with one remaining player to the end of the season and god help us if they do not sort his contract out - we are doomed.
What we have been left with and once again this was demonstrated perfectly yesterday, is a lack of any real direction, a lack of leadership and instead as each goal goes in, players look around at each other as if to say that they have no answer and are looking for someone to guide them, to give them a lift and to drag them out of the crap they have put themselves in, to re-group, re-focus and to go again. When they look around there is literally nothing.
As for Guus Hiddink I am lost for words. Knowing you are playing one of the big rivals who freely and openly adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation, how on earth you can play the Fabregas/Mikel pairing at the heart of our midfield? Why is Nemanja Matic sitting on the bench doing nothing? Why not play both Mikel & Matic, push Fabregas further forward and stick RLC on the bench for this one? At least we would have a screen in front of the centre backs who are both useless!
Maybe I am being harsh on RLC after his performances against Villa and Swansea (where he was our best player before being taken off by Hiddink!) because some will say that he deserved the start. But for a spin and turn to beat his defender to then shoot wide, that was the best he could offer us in this one. He couldn't affect the game like he had the other two and that should have been considered before the team was selected.
Another example of Hiddink not having a clue this time around was his decision to remove our best player for the second game running! PEDRO was our most dangerous attacker and HE TAKES HIM OFF! - Hiddink is a joke!
Now, I am going to sit and have a watch of Leicester this afternoon and Claudio Ranieri's side that adopt an attacking but sturdy 4-4-2 formation. Why is it that Chelsea refuse point blank to experiment between now and the end of the season and change to 4-4-2? Why not stick Diego Costa +1 up top, play our wingers AS WINGERS and attack teams with a much more solid formation?
We all know our season is over but for god sake we still expect desire, fight, hunger and a level of performance from these over-paid prima donnas this season!
That was one of the worst performances I have seen. Don't get me wrong, City deserved to win by more but I hope Roman Abramovich has given this lot a timely reminder of what is expected because what we all had to witness was a joke and a disgrace!
