John Terry's hamstring injury in addition to what happened to Kurt Zouma has plunged Chelsea into an apparent 'crisis" ahead of tomorrow night and Paris St Germain. As we wait for news on our Captain, Chelsea will do well to come out of this one with a clean sheet.
Chelsea will more than likely start with the same back four that finished the game on Saturday: Cesar Azpilicueta at right back, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic in the middle with Baba Rahman at left back and it's not ideal. Can they deal with the threat that PSG will pose?
It's a massive concern that JT isn't there in the biggest game of our season so far. He is an organiser, he is a Leader but he talks people through games. When he plays next to JT, Gary Cahill plays well. Without him there to guide him, at times he gets caught out and drifts from where he should be.
Ivanovic at centre back is better than having him at right back in my opinion up against the pacey Angel Di Maria and I would much rather prefer to have Cesar Azpilicueta up against him.
Looking at the games last season, Cahill is the one to pick up Zlatan Ibrahimovic and I expect him to do the same again however, that would leave Ivanovic on the cover and let's face it he is not blessed with pace if we lose the challenge in the air and PSG break on us.
The only position I am comfortable with is right back. Baba Rahman although a good player, concerns me coming into this game. We do not want any rash challenges, we need him to hold his position and to ensure he doesn't get caught out in behind as we know PSG will look to do.
It's a massive game and these two injuries really could not have come at a worse time.
