Chelsea Striker "offered 7m Euros a year" to move to China!

Loic Remy is still a Chelsea player. I say that because of various stories that are flying about at the moment about the Frenchman who is looking for regular first team football.

Being honest, I was surprised that the transfer window had passed without a deal being done but according to reports, the high winds around the South of England at the time prevented the Leicester City owner from sending his personal Helicopter down to collect him to get the deal signed after a fee had been agreed.

So Remy remains at the club alongside Diego Costa, Falcao and new loan signing Alexandre Pato and four into three doesn't fit. As a result, there are additional reports that as soon as Pato is fit and ready to be involved, Remy will be sold with China being his most likely destination.

The French Website Le10 Sport is claiming that Chelsea have been in negotiations with Shanghai Shenhua about a possible move with wages being offered at around 7m Euros a year which is staggering!

However, a second club as posted here, has now entered the race to sign Remy and as yet that club is unknown. The report on the Website states:

"Loïc Rémy has received in recent hours a superior proposal from another Chinese club, which this time may grab his attention"

I do feel for Remy and appreciate everything he has done or at least tried to do at our club but it's just one of those things that happen in the game. He is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League but just not for Chelsea.

Expect Remy to leave within weeks.
