WATCH: Diego Costa is getting back to where he needs to be for Chelsea.

Diego Costa gave me some encouragement on Wednesday night, in fact, he gave all of us encouragement because his movement in that first half was outstanding.

I have been banging on about Costa for weeks now saying that his movement hasn't been good enough or anywhere near what he offered to us last season. One of the important images we remember from our title winning season was Costa's run off the ball being found by Cesc Fabregas but for the most part, we had not seen anything similar.

However, Wednesday night, Diego Costa was up and at it from the start and his movement was different class. He was busy off the ball, showing himself for the ball, running in behind and on he shoulder and our first goal came from exactly that!

Chelsea TV this week had a look at his overall performance and you can see for yourselves the signs are more than encouraging:

He looks a yard quicker, he looks hungry and but for one or two dodgy touches in the second half when in on goal, he could have got himself a goal or two.

Chelsea need everyone to be on their game from now until the end of the season. We have seen the likes of Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic get back to where we needed them to be, now Diego Costa is showing us all that he is more than prepared to do the same!
