Casillas: "Blues have an enormous squad that is capable of beating any European rival".

Despite our poor season, poor results and players out of form, Iker Casillas has urged caution as Porto head to London by stating that Chelsea are capable of beating anyone!

He hasn't seen our performances for the most part this season has he? Did he not watch the Bournemouth game?

Here is what he has actually said:

"Mourinho is a coach who will always want a victory and now against his old club.

But we fly with the mentality that we can make them suffer at Stamford Bridge and get through the group phase.

To be out of the Champions League in the next few days would be a big blow.

Chelsea are not playing with the same level that they played in the past seasons but the Blues have an enormous squad that is capable of beating any European rival.

It’s never easy to play English clubs in their own stadiums with the atmospheres there. But this match is decisive for us. After failing in the last match it’s now obligatory that we go to London and show our best side and, as a minimum, take one point on the pitch.

Porto has not prepared for a defensive match because that will be a disaster and almost certainly result in a defeat.

We are obsessed with staying in the Champions League."

The annoying thing is that he is spot on. We sit there week in, week out and think that it will all click into place because we have world class players. On our day, we are a match for anyone but right now our days are few and far between which is a real problem.

I have a feeling that now more than ever, Chelsea are just as obsessed with the Champions League this season too.

Without question, everyone needs to stand up and be counted if we are to get the right result in this one!
