Disturbing reports have emerged that a Chelsea player has stated that he would "rather lose" than win for Jose Mourinho. Could this season and the current situation get any worse?
The report has come from BBC Radio 5 Live Presenter Garry Richardson who has stated the following:
'Let me tell you what I know on the Chelsea story. My information comes from a Chelsea first team player.
The information was actually passed to me by a football contact. I was told that Jose Mourinho's relationship with many of his players is at rock bottom.
I was told they're fed up with the way he's been dealing with some of them. They're fed up with his outbursts. I was told that his relationship particularly with Eden Hazard was under immense strain.
Here's a staggering quote. One player said recently, "I'd rather lose than win for him". Now that last quote may well have been said in the heat of the moment, but it perhaps gives an insight into the mood of some of the players.'
Now I am mindful that this could be complete fabrication and yet ANOTHER attempt by the media/press to destabilise the club and to kick Jose Mourinho when he is down.
However, we also have to take into account the opposite side of the argument and wonder if this is actually true. If it is, then there is a serious, serious problem which need to be dealt with as quickly as possible.
This player needs to be sacked from the football club on the spot because we don't need to see another William Gallas situation here again.
If this has been said then reports that Jose Mourinho has started to lose the dressing room is something that we should also consider because this is scandalous, outrageous and the perfect example for everyone outside of the football club to see that he has.
I personally DO NOT believe this report. These are paid professionals and paid extremely well by the way. Why put your lively hood and career in jeopardy in the game to say something like that? Imagine if you or I had an issue with our boss at work and we decided to not do something that we are paid to do just to spite him? It simply wouldn't happen.
Chelsea need to act fast on this and a statement or something needs to be issued because this is something that simply will not just blow over!
You are right Mr.Daft. We need to take immediate action. I will send out an S.O.S immediately. Meanwhile, you get in touch with the mayors office and ask him to send special forces to the Cobham training ground. I am standing right behind your arse on this one.
ReplyDeleteWhether we believe the report or not it is painfully obvious that something is very seriously wrong in that dressing room. How long can RA put up with the remarkable fall from grace after last year's dominance of the league?
ReplyDeleteGet rid of the highly paid and under performing players. They are not proud to be playing for Chelsea. RA should get behind his manager and re build the team. Time to rebuild atound Loftus Cheek, Solanke etc.
