DROGBA ON COSTA: "You need to be strong but you need to be smart"

Didier Drogba has given his opinion on Diego Costa recently and has stated that he needs to be strong but smart at the same time. Wise words at the moment.

I have had plenty to say on how Diego Costa is currently winding me and alot of the Chelsea fans up on here this week. However, if we remember in Didier Drogba's early start to his Chelsea career, he also became the focus of the Chelsea fans frustrations so he understands the situation perfectly.

When asked of Costa, Drogba said:

“I have also had some passionate moments in my career. It’s what football creates in difficult moments.

I was lucky to have players who helped me, who were always there to support me and give me advice.

They helped me to change my relationship with the fans, to focus more on my game and to save my energy for the football.

You need to be strong but you also need to be smart. Diego will learn that this might not be the best way for him to change things.”
