Cesc Fabregas has given his honest and open opinion on Chelsea's season so far and has described just how it is affecting him at the moment.
We often hear from players when they are away during an international break but this time it's important to hear from the midfielder after he had been linked with being the cause of disharmony in the dressing room.
So the past couple of days and speaking to the Spanish Newspaper Marca, Fabregas said:
"The season is f*****, Things aren't working out and the results aren't doing our performances justice. We're playing better but aren't having any luck.
When things are going your way, you flick the ball with your heel and it flies into the top corner, whereas now every piledriver is going off target.
Either way, we need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
Things with Mou are good. Obviously when you're not winning things always get said, whereas when you're winning everything's rosy. When you're not winning everything is that much harder, but all of us - the players, fans and the coach - have to pull together and hang tough.
We're the only ones who can turn things round. Nobody is going to give us a helping hand. We're still in a position to challenge the big boys in the Champions League, but in the Premier League we need to get our act together right away.
When things don't go right I can't sleep at night. Sometimes when I am at home, in bed, I wonder.
You have your own thoughts and the manager will have his thoughts about what is going on and it is all about talking about things and putting this right all together.
Football is my life. It is everything to me. My family keep me happy sometimes but when football does not go well, my life is not happy.
I try to fix it and try to put it right. We are used to always being at the top."
He is spot on isn't he. It has been f****d but we still have time to buck our ideas up and put a decent run of back-to-back results together to climb back up the league.
There is only so much bad luck you can have thrown at you throughout the course of a season and it's important that you all work hard to change your luck, to improve and to get better.
Fabregas is saying all the right things here, it's about time he started to deliver on the pitch with his team mates.
I'd rather he showed some form on the pitch than talk about it.......he's been "unlucky" since Christmas 2014.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking that the article is so well explained and nice. Guys, you know what last night I just won $2000, I can't stop thinking bout it. It was just possible in an hour with the help of Sport Pick. It is an iPhone APP. I really appreciate this application maker.
