RIDICULOUS ARTICLE OF THE DAY AWARD GOES TO - THE DAILY STAR!

Oh Dear! What some Newspapers come up with just to try and sell copy or to gain page views online! Today, the most ridiculous story of the day goes to the Daily Star as Jose Mourinho is set to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid!

Chelsea fans will be well aware that we are always prime target for the press for when things go wrong or if we are not playing well. They love to knock us at every single opportunity and you would expect to read some of the crap we have had to put up with of late based on our season so far.

However, this one has to take the cake as it's pure fabrication. The actual article states:

"The Blues boss is under pressure after a poor start with the Premier League champions which has seen them win just three of their nine games.

Spanish publication Fichajes claims Mourinho wants to leave Chelsea and return to the Bernabeu.

The Portuguese manager had a successful three years at the La Liga club but left under acrimonious circumstances.

Mourinho has been a controversial figure all season from dropping Chelsea captain John Terry, to criticising referees and getting in trouble with the FA.

The Blues' poor start to the season prompted owner Roman Abramovich to back the under-fire boss.

Chelsea did return to winning ways in the Premier League at the weekend with a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa.

They were held in the Champions League last night in a 0-0 draw with Dynamo Kiev although Mourinho believed his side should have had a penalty.

Chelsea face a trip to in-form West Ham on Saturday as they return to Premier League action."
