John Terry's rallying call - "We need to stand up. We need to be hungry"

JT: "Generally, we are looking low on confidence and as I say, we have got a big group of players in that dressing room. We need to stand up, which we will do, there's no difference from last season. We need to be hungry like we was, like many teams. 

It's difficult to come back after winning the Premier League. We have seen that with Man City a couple of years ago. 

We are suffering a bit of late but as I said before, we've got big characters in that dressing room and we will remain together along with the manager and get ourselves out of this."

(On the question of confidence) "Losing games makes you feel lower, makes you wonder where the next win is coming from. As I say, once you can get one, you can build on that; which we must do now at home against Villa after the international break.  

Maybe it's a good opportunity for players to go away and clear our heads and come back after that and really kick on because we need to start winning football matches. 

We have the best manager and we remain behind and remain together and that's all you can do in tough circumstances like that. 

I've been here an awful long time and have seen managers come and go. If anyone is gonna get us out of this hole its Jose Mourinho and the players will remain together and fight, keep fighting for the supporters because they were excellent today"
