ROMAN APPROVES SPENDING! WHO'S TOP OF YOUR LIST?

Reports would have you believe that Roman Abramovich has given Jose Mourinho his blessing to get out into the transfer market and spend money to invest in our squad before the window closes. Who do you think we should be looking to sign?

It's all well and good spouting off a whole list of names but it's important to look at our current squad, the past two games to see where we are struggling and to identify what we need. That's the task facing Jose Mourinho for the next three weeks.

With Baba Rahman signed we no longer need cover at left back and we know that Chelsea have made three unsuccessful bids for John Stones so first priority is a centre back. Is there anyone other than John Stones that could come in and provide instant competition for places? What about someone like Ryan Shawcross?

I also believe that Chelsea are an defensive midfielder short, some to play alongside Nemanja Matic and to have the same presence about them in that position.

Chelsea were run ragged in that first half on Sunday and got our tactics totally wrong with Cesc Fabregas starting next to Matic. He cannot play there in the big, big games because he isn't a massive influence without the ball as Matic is. The big Serbian is literally everywhere covering two roles!

John Obi Mikel was overlooked for City totally, even when things had not gone according to plan with City ripping us apart and that says alot to me. How many times in the past have we seen Jose play Mikel in those sort of games?

I also believe that we need right winger or attacking midfielder because Willian is wasted out there. Bring Willian inside to fight with Oscar for the number ten role and bring in someone like Pedro from Barcelona who, despite Manchester United's interest, is still available.

Juan Cuadrado is doing nothing but wind me up every time he comes on because he literally produces nothing. Chelsea have now agreed to let him leave on loan and expect him to go before the window shuts back to Serie A.

Victor Moses is another that is overlooked in this position but you can understand why. As we know Jose Mourinho expects his wide players to track back and to work hard without the ball by pressing the ball. Pedro of Barcelona plays that way as we have seen and would be an ideal candidate.

That's the areas I believe that Chelsea are lacking right now and need urgent cover but what do you people think? Do you agree with me or have other targets in mind that you feel would benefit our squad?
