PEDRO TO CHELSEA - Pushing for £20m move after talks with Fabregas and Mourinho!

In a strange turn of events in Spain, It's being reported that Jose Mourinho has made a shock £20m bid to bring Pedro Rodriguez to Stamford Bridge.

Now I say this is a strange turn of events because the 27 year-old had recently signed a new deal at Barcelona with a release fee clause inserted into his contract believed to be in the region of 150m Euros.

A couple of weeks later and it seems that Pedro has had second thoughts and does not want to spend this coming season sitting on the bench, with the arrival in January of Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid and has somehow managed to convince the Catalan side to lower his release fee clause to just 30m Euros (£21.1m).

Having already rejected the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG, sources close to the player have revealed that he is holding out for a move to Chelsea to link up with Cesc Fabregas and Jose Mourinho is more than happy to oblidge. It's believed that initial conversations between Pedro/Mourinho and Pedro/Fabregas have already taken place and everyone is pushing for a move to be completed ASAP.

Expect more in the coming days but this is one of the players I have hoped that Chelsea would try and sign all along. His work rate is fantastic, his pace and flair excellent and he also scores plenty of goals.
