It had seemed that Chelsea had no interest in selling Juan Cuadrado this summer, or at least had no planned to but with developments happening in Barcelona (see my next post) it's become apparent that he is on his way back to Italy.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to let Cuadrado leave for the same amount they paid Fiorentina for his services back in January and Juventus have already sent representatives over to London to try and finalise a deal for his signature.
It's such a shame for the player because it was to be an exciting challenge playing in the Premier League. However, we have seen that for the most part, he has looked out of sorts and has struggled to get to grips with the pace and power of our game.
So, it seems that a deal for Cuadrado has taken a major step forward and I would expect him to leave the club before the season starts.
What have you thought of Cuadrado at Chelsea?
if that is the case then serious question need to be asked of whoever is in charge of our transfer dealings. Didn't they see with there own eyes that he is not physical fit enough for the premier league? Serious question need to be asked
