According to reports, Chelsea have made an offer of around £11m per season for three years to Wembley to become our temporary residence while the Bridge is rebuilt. A massive offer and one you would imagine Wembley would seriously consider.
Chelsea had approach a couple of sites with a view to availability such as Twickenham Stadium which caused public outcry from the local residents due to the disruption around the ground every other week and Twickenham refused any such advances.
Chelsea had also tried to look at Battersea Power Station and it's site as a potential new home for Chelsea long term but again missed out so alternatives where looked at and Wembley has become the number one choice.
Based in North London, it would be a trek for the Chelsea season ticket holders every other week and some would question whether or not Chelsea could fill the stadium or stay at home and get online to play http://www.stickersslot.co.uk/. Playing football in front of some empty seats isn't exactly ideal. In saying that, the demand for tickets for Chelsea these days has become so big, you would have to imagine that selling 50,000 - 60,000 tickets would be feasible,
I back the idea on a temporary basis. The terms of the deal would be something we would need to look at with how the gate receipts would be shared etc.
What do you people think of Wembley every other week to watch Chelsea?
