New Deal is fantastic news for Chelsea!

Jose Mourinho stated upon his return to Chelsea that he would remain here for as long as Mr Abramovich wants him. According to reports Jose is about to sign a four-year extension to his current contract which is fantastic news for all of us!

In the current football climate with the financial rewards on offer going through the roof, the game has turned into a results business and in Jose Mourinho you can almost guarantee that season in, season out. 

Talking the other day about what has happened to our game it's clear that we will never see the likes of the tenure of Sir Alex Ferguson again in our lifetime. Managers are never given the stability or opportunity to settle at a club and to bring players through for example unless they deliver what requirement their club demands every season 

I honestly believe that through all the upheaval at Chelsea over recent years under Abramovich, the owner realised that had to change. If anything the appointment of Rafa Benitez and the supporter reaction have the boss that final push to bring back the man that delivers results.

It's funny because various people I speak to who aren't Chelsea fans moan, complain and bitch about Jose Mourinho and the way he is and the things he says. However, when asked if they would take him as their manager you all know what the answer was! Mourinho is box office, when he speaks people listen.

I am delighted with the news he is about to sign an extension to his current contract. How do you all feel about the news?
