According to a report featured in The Telegraph, Roman Abramovich has agreed to give Petr Cech special dispensation to remain in England and sign with either Arsenal or Manchester United this summer. How do you feel about that?
I have said it all along with Cech, he has given us 11 years of wonderful service and has won everything there is to win at our club. No one will ever forget his heroics in Munich three years ago that helped Chelsea win the Champions League for the first time.
The report states that at present, Cech is concentrating on his international commitments with the Czech Republic as they prepare to face Iceland in a weeks time. After that game, it's believed that Cech will meet with Chelsea to decide on his future.
So what if he joins Arsenal or Manchester United - is that really much of a problem for us? I am not so sure. Of course he would bolster United with David De Gea believed to be signing for Real Madrid in the not too distant future. What of Arsenal? Well, I believe he is better than the current options they have and would bolster their squad.

As much as we love, admire and respect Petr Cech for everything he has given us for Chelsea, we cannot deny that he doesn't seem to be the same player he was before his nasty head injury. There are times when he should command his area better, there are times when he should be making the saves we expect of him and it's important mention.
There is a reason that Jose Mourinho selected Thibaut Courtois as Chelsea's number one last season and as Cech did, we have to respect that.
For the player personally with the Euro's next summer (if the Czech Republic qualify) he will want to be playing regular first team football and he isn't going to get that here.
The report states that he wants his family to remain in London which puts Arsenal ahead of United but I wouldn't rule out Louis Van Gaal just yet.
So what do you people think? Do you agree that Petr Cech is being given the freedom to choose where he wants to go? Where do you think he will go? My money is on Arsenal.
