CHELSEA FANS - COME AND ANSWER THIS QUESTION!

Arsene Wenger has made a comment that I want to get as many of your opinion's on; even if you are not a Chelsea fan. He stated "Big clubs have a responsibility to win but to win with style" and I am asking if you agree or not?

My own personal opinion here is that big clubs have a responsibility to win and nothing more these days!

The reason I say that is because of the monies in the game and the pressure financial reward brings to the clubs that should be challenging for trophies every season. I would even add that is the case for clubs that should be challenging for the top four!

Just look at Tottenham and what happened with them after they sold Gareth Bale for example. They had previously qualified for the top four, are widely considered as seasoned challengers for the top four but invested their money badly and haven't been anywhere near qualifying since!

Now look at Brendan Rodgers and the pressures he is now under at Liverpool after a poor season! Again, Liverpool made around the same amount of money after selling Luis Suarez but as with Tottenham, have invested the money badly and find themselves outside the top four!

Football has become a results business. Back in the day that is purely what managers would be judged on over a period of time but now more than ever, Managers are finding themselves out of work if they are unable to meet the demands of the club.

Look at Chelsea for example last season compared to this. We lost games to the so-called "lesser" sides fighting for their futures last season and it cost us the title. As a result, Jose Mourinho went out and strengthened in the areas he felt we needed and we have seen a marked improvement in our attacking play but with a solid foundation that led us to victory at Anfield that spoiled their title party a season ago!

Having not won the title for FIVE seasons, I personally do not care how Chelsea win games. You have seen the flexibility of our team in that we can attack teams and play fantastic football, real entertaining stuff but then again we can dig in and defend our box to grind out results.

I would be really interested to hear from Arsenal fans on this topic and what Wenger has said. How do you think they feel after another Premier League title goes by without Arsenal's name on it? Would they settle with watching their side be as flexible as Chelsea and adopt a defensive approach at times just to get the game won?

What do you people think? Win with "style" or just "win"?
