Chelsea's Academy has had yet another fantastic season. Having already won the FA Youth Cup, the European Youth Cup and are sitting just three points off the top of the U21 League, it will be interesting to see if any of those boys featured in our remaining three games.
According to the Tweet posted yesterday afternoon, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been raving about training with our first team and I just wonder if we will see him feature between now and the end of the season?
It's important to remember just what Jose Mourinho said about the promising midfielder earlier in the season. He said: “Next season, Ruben will not be a kid in the development process. He will be a first-team player, absolutely ready to play and compete”
Encouraging words from the manager and a reason to think why not when it comes to the last three games. It's at times such as these that giving a youngster exposure to a massive game at Stamford Bridge such as Liverpool would be great for his development.
What do you people think? Would you like to see Ruben start or at least come on for a substantial part of these games?
