"Boring, boring Chelsea" rang out from the Emirates as the final whistle blew yesterday on this hard fought 0-0 draw. Arsenal fans can think what they like but for Chelsea it's one step closer to the title.

Jose Mourinho responded to the chants from the Gunners fans after the game stating that it's boring to not win the title in ten years and he is right. Arsenal fans like Manchester United fans should know by now that we are in a results business now more than ever and it's trophies and titles that you are judged upon.

If anything looking back at the game yesterday, Chelsea should have had two penalties and the Ospina sent off for his shocking challenge on Oscar which I still for the life of me cannot understand why nothing was given.

Fabregas was clipped by Cazorla which is a fact that the replays show but his elaborate reaction was the reason why it was not given and he was booked on his return to the Emirates.

This was always going to be a hard fought game. It's the biggest London derby of the season and with the two teams being where they are in the Premier League and on form, both sides approached the game with a level of caution.

Arsenal had a single solitary shot on target in the game from Mesut Ozil but that was it. For all their possession in our half and touches of the ball in our box, they could not find a way through the defence marshaled fantastically well by the impressive John Terry who fully deserved his man of the match award after the game.

As Arsenal played balls into the box, he cleared them. As they looked to play people down the channel, he covered and cleared and as usual, he made plenty of clearances in and around that near post. He like the rest of our defence was immense.

Arsenal fans will argue that they could have nicked the game late on as a Nacho Monreal cross was missed by Ozil (which more than sums up his time at Arsenal) with his strongest left foot, and then missed by Danny Welbeck on for the frustrated Oliver Giroud who still has not beaten Chelsea or scored against us.

Chelsea's best chance and one that we should have scored came from Ramires in the first half. Willian's pass found Ramires into the box on goal and rather than take a touch with his right to place the ball past the keeper with his left, he tried to flick the ball past Ospina first time with his right foot and the keeper was down low to deny him to his left.

I said before the game that Arsenal needed to beat Chelsea in this one and not the other way around. The fact of the matter is that Arsenal couldn't and Chelsea had the better chance to win, with at least one stonewall penalty that was not given.

So we need five more points to wrap up our fourth Premier League title since Arsenal last won theirs. If that's "boring, boring Chelsea" I'll take that all day long because it's what goes into the record books that matters.

I would like to end with one final comment about Cesc Fabregas. I thought he handled the game well and the reaction he had initially from the Arsenal fans. It was nice to see that change when he was substituted late in the game with the kind of reception he deserves (which was a nice touch by Mourinho by the way).

Fabregas stated in the week that he has waited 27 years to win the Premier League. Surely that will happen within the next two weeks as we now only need five points for the title.
