Welcome to Brazil vs Chile, live from Emirates Stadium, brought to you by Copa90 and Football FanCast.
In a repeat of last summer's World Cup quarter-final - which Brazil clinched following a 3-2 penalty shoot-out victory - two of South America's on-song sides face-off with Alexis Sanchez and Neymar set to take centre stage.
It’s fair to say Brazil are doing their darnedest to tuck last summer’s disappointment firmly away in their subconscious, with new gaffer Dunga undefeated since taking the reins in July.
On Thursday night the Brazilians did away with a handy-looking France team, making it seven wins on the bounce. During that spell golden boy Neymar has bagged eight goals.
However, it’s not been quite so smooth sailing for Chile going into Sunday’s friendly. The hosts and dark horses of this summer’s Copa America were turned over 2-0 by Carlos Carlos Queiroz’s
Iran midweek. Alexis Sanchez only came off the bench at half-time for that one but, given the Arsenal hitman’s familiarity with Sunday’s territory, expect him to play a starring role.
