ZOUMA: Mancini eyeing up loan move for Defender - Not going to happen!

Bearing in mind Kurt Zouma was drafted into the first team to face Newcastle at the Bridge last weekend in the place of Gary Cahill; all possible moves for the young French Defender in this transfer window are pointless as he is staying at Chelsea.

So you can imagine my surprise when I see reports that Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is eyeing up a loan move for him; to give him more regular first team football for the remainder of the current season?

Where on earth do these people get their information from?? If baffles me it really does!

This past week I had featured an interview with Zouma as he spoke of how much he is learning from working with Gary Cahill and JT everyday and that he is enjoying being in London.

In addition, the fact that at present, Branislav Ivanovic will be needed at right back due to the injury sustained to Cesar Azpilicueta, Zouma is our only other option at centre back in the coming weeks and we have some big, big games coming up.

Looking at the Zouma situation from the other point of view it's clear that he hasn't featured as much as he would like maybe but being honest, could he ever have expected to have done in his first season at the club.

He has obvious natural talent but whenever people come from others leagues around the world to the Premier League it takes time to get used to the pace and power of the Football played here and Zouma is beginning to adapt.

This story for me is totally dead in the water. Zouma is going nowhere!
