Once again, John Terry has been speaking to the media ahead of tonight's League Cup Semi Final first leg against Liverpool at Anfield. Despite the difficulties Brendan Rodgers side have faced this season, JT has been keen to point out that form goes out of the window when we play each other!
We have seen throughout the years; ever since Jose Mourinho first arrived at Chelsea, that we have had some classic encounters with Liverpool. Every single one of us will remember the epic Champions League battles we have had; full of emotion, some good times and some bad.
Of course those days are gone for the time being after their demise in Europe's biggest competition this season and it looks as though they are going to miss out on qualification at the end of the current season also - so it's the League Cup we now contest!
Despite this one being everyone's least favourite competition, it is the first trophy available during the season and knowing how much the manager values the importance of "the group" winning that first title, you can bet your life that we will take this game as serious as any other tonight.
So to John Terry and his comments before the game and he re-iterates that no matter what competition it is, this will be a tough tie over the two games. He said:
JT's comments are interesting aren't they? The fact he ends by saying that he "hopes we are strong enough" is hard to believe with the way we are playing of late and especially at Swansea in that amazing first half.
Of course Anfield is a difficult place to go and play football. The crowd will be up and the players also. However, surely we have more than enough quality and really strength in depth to beat this lot over two games?
Bring it on!

I believe that Daniel Sturridge remains out and Mario Ballotelli is unwell but JT is right, it looks like Raheem Sterling will come back into the side after being granted a short break."It (Anfield) is going to be a tough place to go. I think Daniel Sturridge might be back, (Raheem) Sterling is back as well and they proved when we went up there in the league that it's always a tough game. You kind of forget form and where they are, it goes out of the window, it's Chelsea v Liverpool. It's going to be tough and over the two legs I just hope we're strong enough."
