REPORTS: Bayern Midfielder linked to Chelsea - It's NOT going to happen!

During any transfer window you have to try and filter out the articles and rumours you read or hear about as those with actual substance rather than read ones that are totally fabricated to encourage the likes of you and I to click and read. Bastian Schweinsteiger being linked to Chelsea is one of them!

We have seen that he has been linked with a move to Chelsea before and nothing came of it. Now, after speaking to Kicker, his comments have been blown up out of all proportion just to people can speculate about his future once again. 

The German World Cup Winner has a around eighteen months left of his current contract at Bayern Munich and was asked if he intended to extend his contract with the Bavarian club. 

He said: 

"I am in no hurry to renew. It is not something that bothers me because I have a year left before it expires.

The important thing is that my physical problems and injuries are resolved. The rest will follow.’

As we all know, he has spent his whole playing career at Bayern and in the Bundesliga and has literally won it all. He is playing under the guidance of Pep Guardiola so why on earth would he want to leave? 

The key point here is the final quotation from him - a clear message that he is settled down and has no intention of leaving.
