Ridiculous rumours of Premier League Striker being linked with £30m Chelsea move.

We are just days away from the January transfer window being open and the rumour mill is in full swing already. This morning we are reading that Chelsea could be lining up at £30m move for Swansea's Wilfried Bony!

Sorry, that's just bollocks isn't it! There are reports in plenty of the newspapers and websites claiming that Chelsea sent their European Scout to Anfield on Monday night to take a look at Bony but he was not alone as Manchester City sent two representatives to do the same.

Why on earth would Jose Mourinho want to sign Bony at this stage? Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy have all made important contributions to our season and that's the end of it as far as I am concerned.

It's more likely that with the injury problems they have to their current strikers, Man City will be the ones that test Swansea's resolve in the next window or even next Summer.

Bony has recently signed a four year contract with Swansea so it's going to take a huge amount to buy him out of that contract and compensate the team from South Wales.

One thing I will say is that I DO like Bony as a player. Whether or not he lasts at Swansea beyond his season is another thing but he's strong, quick and leads the line fantastically well.

Bony to Chelsea? I just cannot see it!
