"I believe in my team, my team-mates, so everything is possible.”

Most of the talk in the past week has been of an unprecedented quadruple at Chelsea this season. With the manager playing down our chances recently, Nemanja Matic has revealed that it IS a possibility!

Matic who had another storming game last night spoke to the media after the game and was asked whether or not Chelsea could create history this season by winning ALL four competitions we are fighting for. 

He responded by saying: 

“I think it’s possible, we have a chance so it is possible. I don’t want to say that we’re going to win it but we’re going to try, we have quality – but also other teams they are strong.

We will try and we will see if we can do it. I am confident, I believe in my team, my team-mates, so everything is possible."

Jose spoke of the next four games being the only quadruple he had his eyes on being Stoke, West Ham, Southampton and Tottenham and I agree!

All talk of a quadruple is ridiculous as we need to just take each game as it comes to see where it takes us. Only last month all the talk was of Chelsea emulating the Arsenal invincible season and look what happened to that!

I would prefer to ignore talk of a quadruple and of winning anything at the moment. We are top of the league and we have played really well all season but have won nothing to this point. We are into the semi final of the League Cup, into the knockout stages of the Champions League and on paper, have a favourable draw in the FA Cup but there is such a long way to go.  

Let's just concentrate on West Ham on Boxing Day and another all important three points!
