Chelsea have travelled to Slovenia to take on Maribor in the reverse fixture of two weeks ago. With Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime, I am asking if YOU think the manager should rotate the starting eleven for this one?
Having played in a difficult game a week ago at Shrewsbury, it would be tempting for the manager to give the same players another start tonight. However, Mikel is unavailable through injury and as a result, Ramires could be given his first start for a while.
Loic Remy also remains unavailable so it will be interesting to see if the boss goes with Didier Drogba up top again or, if he decides to continue with Diego Costa's rehabilitation and starts him instead.
We beat this side 6-0 at home and as Mourinho said, it was a fake result. I cannot see a repeat result this evening but in saying that, I expect Chelsea to win this by three.
I personally WOULD rotate and give some other players another go such as Mohamed Salah who looks like a man down on confidence and a shadow of his former self. A good performance tonight would do him the world of good as we move towards the busy period of the season.
Petr Cech (who released his first ever You Tube video yesterday here) should be in line to come in for Thibaut Courtois and Kurt Zouma in for Gary Cahill.
Cesar Azpilicueta is available again and could come in down the right hand side with Filipe Luis on the left.
Ramires and Matic to start in the middle of midfield with Schurrle, Willian and Salah as our attacking three.
So, just to confirm, here is my selected starting line up this evening:
Cech, Azpilicueta, Zouma, JT(c), Luis, Matic, Ramires, Schurrle, Willian, Salah and Costa.
What do you people think of MY eleven? Would you make any changes to it and what do you feel about rotating the side ahead of Liverpool at the weekend?
