As we have seen this week, Chelsea have been linked with moves for both Gareth Bale and Marco Reus. With Reus as early as January, I am wondering if these two players would complete the puzzle for Jose Mourinho?
Of course with any moves in, there will be moves out of the club and we have seen that both Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah are being heavily linked with moves away from Chelsea with Salah being in this coming window.
For me as I stated the other day, Reus would be a perfect replacement for Andre Schurrle if the reports of a swap deal are true. I personally believe that Reus is slightly more creative than Schurrle.
As for Bale, I have initially found it hard to believe that Chelsea would go out and spend £80-£90m on him. However, if that was the case (now that the club have announced a substantial increased in revenue and profit) he would be a player that could fit into our style of play seamlessly.
Would Dortmund and Madrid be willing to do business with Chelsea? Only time will tell but it is my view that the combination of Bale and Reus IS better than Salah and Schurrle.
So what do you think if they DID both come into Jose's squad? Do you feel that they would complete the puzzle for him? Think of the wide options with Bale, Hazard, Reus and Willian to choose from, it's an exciting prospect and a dream at the moment.
Could it be a reality from next season? What do you think?
