A little over 48 hours since we walked off the pitch at Old Trafford, Chelsea are back in action against Shrewsbury and there are plenty of changes but Didier Drogba rolls back the years to start his second game in two days which is a surprise to all of us.
No disrespect to our opponents but any team put together by Jose Mourinho from our current squad should literally "walk" this one and beat Shrewsbury tonight.
We have expected plenty of changes being made with the players who have hardly featured being given a start this evening and the boss agrees. In come Cech. Christensen, Zouma, Mikel, Nathan Ake, Salah and Andre Schurrle
In all he has made seven changes from the side that faced United.
The team is as follows:
Cech; Christensen, Zouma, Cahill, Filipe Luis; Mikel, Ake; Salah, Oscar, Schurrle; Drogba (c)
Our subs v Shrewsbury Town:
Schwarzer, Terry, Matic, Baker, Willian, Hazard, Brown
What do you think about the side Mourinho has selected and who in particular are you looking forward to seeing?
No offence Shrewsbury fans and everyone connected to the club, I hope we give a performance like Maribor last week!
Chelsea to win this by four, five or six!
