COSTA'S RETURN - BACK TO FACE UNITED?

Chelsea fans all over the world will be looking for one name in particular on Jose Mourinho's team sheet this afternoon - Diego Costa. Should Jose throw him straight back into action?

I believe 100% that if he has come through training yesterday at Cobham, ahead of the trip to Manchester that followed, Diego Costa WILL start for Chelsea. 

We have read reports that Costa has struggled with the same hamstring injury that has plagued the last six months of his career. In addition, a mystery viral infection has forced him into Hospital this week so for Costa to even be considered for this one is remarkable. 

There is always a concern with hamstring injuries, common practice would be to take the player out of the equation totally to allow time for the problem to heal, that has never seemed to happen to Costa so it would be a massive risk to play him today. 

However, I trust in Jose Mourinho and Chelsea's medical staff and if they believe he is ready to play, that's good enough for me and all the indications this morning are that Costa WILL start up front to lead the Chelsea attack at 4pm this afternoon.
