Chelsea to raid Barcelona AGAIN??

According to various reports in the last few days, Chelsea are preparing to raid Barcelona again and this time to place a bid of around £24m for defender Gerard Pique. I am wondering how you feel about these reports?

If it's true, then you would have to believe that Andreas Christensen (after his impressive debut yesterday) would be allowed to leave on loan, which is a shame.

It's a strange one really as JT is still playing at a high level and at present, has cemented his position in defence next to Gary Cahill as regular starters. Kurt Zouma has done well when he has come in and he is another who is looking for first team football so why Pique?

I can only believe that if Chelsea to decide to move for Pique, it will not be until next season. I can hardly see Barcelona being willing to do business half way through their season.

The thing is, these are only reports and nothing concrete as such. As you will know, Pique started in 'EL Classico' at the weekend and is still an important part of their defensive unit. Are we totally sure that he would be allowed to leave?

I like Pique as a defender and the fact that he has experience of playing in England would help him if it was to happen. He would also bring a wealth of experience with him if he comes and surely you would have to consider what would happen to JT?

What do you think of the link between Pique and Chelsea? Is it worth it?
