LAMPARD AT MANCHESTER CITY: HAVE SOME RESPECT CHELSEA FANS!!

I personally CANNOT believe some of the reaction of so-called Chelsea fans out there to the fact that Frank Lampard has signed for Man City on a 6 MONTH contract! Some of you need to get a grip and respect the wishes of the best player Chelsea has EVER seen!

It's important to remember that by all accounts, Lampard wanted a two year contract (which he now has at New York City FC) but Chelsea insisted that he has a one year rolling contract. They also couldn't guarantee that he would feature on a regular basis.

Lampard is a legend at this club and WILL return in some capacity once he decides to finish his playing career. In the meantime, he still feels fit enough and hungry enough to play at a high level so why tarnish what he has done here by sitting on the bench and becoming a bit part player?

It's almost as if the haters out there feel that Lampard will be playing week in, week out at City to which I do not think he will be. However, City have given him the option to still be involved in the Premier League which will once again enhance his chances of still being involved with England.

Some people will argue that Lampard will help the City title charge this season but to that I would like to remind you that a league season starts in August and finishes in May! Lampard will NOT be involved in the City game against Chelsea.

Granted, it feels very, very strange to see Lampard in another teams shirt after 13 fantastic years at Chelsea but as Lampard and Jose Mourinho will tell you, time moves on.

So to all the haters out there, have some respect for who in my eyes is the greatest Chelsea player of our history and respect the wishes of the man to get the best out of his final years in his career.
