From Balotelli to Torres - What a load of rubbish!

As Chelsea fans would have seen in the last 24 hours, we have been linked with a late move to try and sign Mario Balotelli from AC Milan and linked with a swap deal to send Fernando Torres out to Italy! I think it's total rubbish, what do you think?

Jose Mourinho has stated on record that he is more than happy with the squad he has at Chelsea now, including the three striking options we have up front in Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres. For that reason, I cannot understand where today's speculation is coming from.

If the manager wanted rid of Fernando Torres I personally think that he would have done it by now. Just look at what has happened in the last twelve month to players such as Ba, De Bruyne, Luiz and Juan Mata. You get the impression that there was no messing about, he wanted rid and so it was done. The fact that Torres is still here speaks volumes.

I believe that work rate of Torres is key in Mourinho's decision to keep him and that will not change.

As for Mario Balotelli? Where on earth has that come from? Talk about put two and two together to make five!

We have heard that Liverpool are in talks with the club and player for a fee of around £16m and I cannot see anything disrupting that deal, so expect him to sign tomorrow.

The only reason we are being linked is because of the connection between the player and Mourinho. Again, total bollocks from the media.

Expect more of the same in the coming two weeks as we build up to the transfer window closing!
