Sunday night in the Maracana, Andre Schurrle and his German team mates take on Argentina in the World Cup Final and for me, I can only see a German victory, the first European win on South American soil.
Alot as always, is said about Lionel Messi but he will need the rest of his team mates to perform to the levels we have seen Germany reach in this competition in order to match the Germans and make a real game of the final.
The likes of Higuain, Mascherano, Zabaleta and Sergio Aguero all need to play their part and try to force the opposition onto the back foot. If not, they would we better off travelling to Costa Rica for a few days not only because this Country was the biggest surprise in the World Cup, but because of his beautiful nature.
Germany have demonstrated that they are a team first and foremost, no pre-madonna's, no players thinking they are more important than anyone else all working hard for the manager and for each other.
The German midfield three of Khedira, Kroos and Schweinsteiger are a class apart and Argentina will have to deal with the way they look to dominate the ball in that area.
Of course if Lionel Messi is able to get on the ball with time and space, he can hurt Germany without question but I predict that Messi will find it very difficult to influence the game.
So what of Andre Schurrle? Well it looks that despite his three goals so far, he is more than likely going to be named on the bench once again. Maybe some people will feel that is a little bit harsh but it's Schurrle and his energy that is key here.
We have seen numerous times in the Premier League that Schurrle has a great engine and can run all day long for you. Couple that with his ability to score goals and the German management know that they have someone who can quite literally change a game and influence as he does in our Chelsea man.
I can only see a German win on Sunday and nothing else and it would be nice to see Andre Schurrle pop up with a goal too.
What do you people think?
