One thing about Liverpool's run of form at the moment and being top of the Premier League, every single Liverpool fan you know has quite literally come out of the woodwork and is bleating on and on about being Champions!
I will admit they have more than a decent chance but there is a long, long way to go this season starting with City at Anfield on Sunday.
So, back to them sitting top of the league at the moment and as expected, we are reading quotes from ex-Liverpool players talking up their chances. One of those players is Ronnie Whelan.
He said:
"You cannot fault anything they are doing, they are going out and winning game after game and doing it well.
The energy they are showing at the end of the season always gives you a chance in the last five games. The energy seems to be more than Chelsea and Manchester City and the other teams.
Nine games ago we wouldn't have said we would win nine games on the trot but now there are only five more to go. I know will be a record, winning 14 in a row, but they are playing well enough to do it.
There is a mentality to winning the title and Chelsea have been through it and they will know if perhaps they draw a game there are still plenty of twists and turns to go.
City have to go to Everton and that is no foregone conclusion. It is in Liverpool's hands and we would never have guessed that with five games to go."
What Whelan fails to see is that Manchester City are also rested with no Champions League football. They head to Anfield knowing that a win would enhance THEIR chances of winning the Premier League.
As a Chelsea fan, I am hoping for a draw or a Liverpool win and for us to take three points at Swansea having the knowledge of what has happened at Anfield shortly before we start our game.
I do think that in the coming weeks, it will come down to who handles the pressure better. Chelsea will have both legs of the Champions League semi final either side of our game at Anfield.
These are the games that players live for, players train for and the games we work hard all season to be involved in and I disagree with Whelan. Chelsea and City will be more than a match for Liverpool and let's face it, as City fans know this season, if there is one team that can come to Anfield and beat Liverpool it's Jose Mourinho's Chelsea team.
Let's see what happens this weekend and see where we stand..
Chelsea fans are a spiteful bunch. Whether Liverpool or City win it, we've been the best two teams in the country this season. Two holding midfielders against Crystal Palace, special one indeed.
