All eyes on Paris tomorrow night will be firmly focused on two players amongst a whole host of stars, Eden Hazard and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It's the Champions League Quarter Finals and Eden Hazard knows just how Chelsea can beat them tonight!
Speaking ahead of the game some days ago, Hazard was looking forward to the encounter and spoke of the time his Lille side won the French league title at the Parc Des Princes. He believes the way his team played that day is the same way Chelsea must approach the game this evening.
He said:
"PSG are the team I won the French Cup against and we won the league title in their stadium when we did the double with Lille. So it has been good for me to play them.
"I feel PSG are a bit like Arsenal - they like to dictate the play and if we're ready, if we close them down and go for their throats straight away, things will become a bit more difficult for them."
Hazard is spot on and Chelsea should approach the game just like that tonight. We all saw what we did against Arsenal the other week and I believe we can do the same here.
Without question Jose Mourinho will set his side up to play on the counter attack. PSG have some class players and will look to dominate possession of the ball and press forward. It's up to the likes of Hazard, Ramires and Willian to expose them as soon as the ball is turned over.
Away goals are vital at this stage of the competition and I am more than confident playing the same style as we did against Arsenal could open this lot up on more than one occasion.
We just need to ensure that given a chance, we have to take it!.
