If there is one thing football teaches you it's that on their day, anyone can beat anyone. There all sorts of permutations and ingredients that make Football quite simply, the best game in the world. Tomorrow night, Chelsea have a fantastic chance to keep their dreams alive.
Deadbeat and down and out, that's what the media and press would have you believe after Paris a little less than one week ago. The thing is, Chelsea have been here before, two years ago heading into that famous night at Stamford Bridge against Napoli. No one gave us much of a chance that night either.
This Chelsea team is different and there is no Didier Drogba but we have the potential to turn this around!
We just need to keep the faith and to believe. Eden Hazard's penalty kick has given us a lifeline to cling on to and it gives us every chance to turn this around.
It's night like these that the players live for, managers live for, everyone connected with the club and the supporters live for. These nights have the potential to be glory nights and Chelsea simply have to deliver.
Looking back at Paris last week, Chelsea had more than their fair share of good opportunities to score or to get in good positions, all we lacked was that final ball. In Eden Hazard, we ALWAYS carry a threat.
As I do, you all know that we have the ability to get out on that pitch and to blow PSG out of the water as we did to Arsenal just a couple of weeks ago. We need another fast start in this one and have the potential to claw back the two goal deficit by half time!
No Ibrahimovic is a massive loss for PSG and cannot be underestimated. OK, Chelsea have lost Ramires for this one but have more than capable players to come in. PSG cannot replace the big Swede.
Ignore the negativity from the media and the press and keep believing Chelsea fans, keep the faith in the players and most importantly of all, in Jose Mourinho. He comes alive in nights such as these!
Chelsea can do this, we just need to get right behind them!
