Tonight in the Champions League Quarter Final first leg, Thibaut Courtois' Atletico Madrid side travel to the Nou Camp to take on Barcelona. In one of their biggest games of the season so far, we finally get to see what the young Belgian is made of.
Having watched bits and pieces of Courtois in action is one thing, but to be able to perform in the pressured environment that is the Champions League, and in the Nou Camp is another. It will be interesting to see how both he and Atletico perform.
For the past couple of seasons all we have read about is Courtois and how he has become one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
One minute he talks himself up and states that he doesn't want to come back to Chelsea to play second fiddle to Petr Cech. The next we hear that Chelsea do actually want both of them to go up against each other for the number one position.
Finally, we have read that Chelsea are putting together the offer of a new five year contract for Courtois which indicates that the club sees his future in West London. However to you and me reading all this, the Goalkeeping position at the club remains confusing and it's difficult to try and predict what is going to happen in the summer.
So to the player himself and your own thoughts and opinions. I want to know what you all think of him and how you see him performing tonight. Do you think he can keep Barcelona at bay and perform on the biggest night of their season so far?
All eyes on Barcelona!
