Jose Mourinho was right - The title is Man City's to lose now.

In the last few weeks Jose Mourinho has caused plenty of debate. Time and time again he was asked to confirm that Chelsea are genuine title favourites and people couldn't understand it. Manchester City are just THREE points behind with TWO games in hand and we have to hold our hands up and admit that he was right. It's City's title to lose now.

Of course it pains me to admit it. There had been plenty of debate about whether or not you would rather have the points in the bag than the games in hand and let's face it, that argument pretty much fell on it's arse after the defeat at Villa Park.

So now we are hoping for a miracle but after watching them last night, I just cannot see them dropping points for most of their remaining fixtures. City travel to The Emirates and also to Anfield with the latter being the most realistic chance we have of them being beaten with the way Liverpool are scoring goals. Even with a defeat at Anfield, City would go above us on goal difference (as it stands).

There is one other game that we have to look at in the hope that somehow City drop two points and that's Everton away. Everton at home will make life difficult for City and they will have to work hard to beat them at Goodison Park.

The remainder of their fixtures (no disrespect to any of those sides) on paper have City as overwhelming favourites and I just cannot see them dropping points.

As you can see, the rest of the games are winnable for City. Stranger things have happened in football and it's never over until it's over. We are now reliant on Merseyside to try and stop Pellegrini's men for winning the title.

It really is Man City's title to lose!
