Are Liverpool SERIOUS title contenders with Arsenal, City and Chelsea?

Everyone has been talking about a three horse race for the Premier League title this season but after Liverpool's last gasp win at Fulham last night, they are right up there in contention. I am asking YOU reading this post if you believe they are serious title contenders?

Apart from the Aguero / Negredo combination, there is no one better at the moment up top than Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge for Liverpool. It's the goals these two have contributed so far that has taken Liverpool in with a shout of the title in my view.

A single point behind Man City although City have a game in hand, three points behind Arsenal and four behind Chelsea, you cannot deny that they are right in the mix this season and hats off to him, Brendan Rodgers has done fantastic.

However, and for the purpose of his post, it's important not to forget that Liverpool have to face United away, City, Chelsea and Tottenham at Anfield before the end of the season!

I still personally believe that Liverpool are fragile at the back and that could cost them a realistic challenge this term. You cannot rely on Suarez and Sturridge to win you games if you fail to stop conceding goals.

Overall, I believe the three of us have better squads than Liverpool and whoever keeps their players fit could be key in this run in.

Liverpool also have to keep an eye over their shoulder at Tottenham who have been on a good run of late under Tim Sherwood. They sit just three points behind Liverpool so it's going to be a fantastic battle for the Champions League places between now and the end of the season.

As stated on here before, Chelsea play 8 of their remaining 12 games against sides in the bottom half of the Premier League and of the 4 against our rivals, we only play away at Anfield.

What do you people think now about the title race as it stands at the moment? Who has the upper hand and who could go on a late run? Are Liverpool serious contenders?
